  1. 1Call/visit your parents regularly — do not wait for special occasions
  2. 2Never raise your voice at them, even during disagreements
  3. 3Serve them physically — their food, medicines, comfort
  4. 4If they ask something permissible, say yes. If impermissible, decline gently with respect
  5. 5Make du'a for them daily: "Rabbir hamhuma kama rabbayani saghira"
  6. 6After their death: Pray for them, give sadaqah on their behalf, maintain their friendships
